RITP: »Les Rencontres internationales de théâtres de papier« wurden 1998 initiiert von  der Compagnie Papierthéâtre unter der Leitung von Alain Lecucq, seit 2009 unter gemeinsamer Leitung mit Narguess Majd.

Mittlerweile ist das Festival Teil des alle zwei Jahre stattfindenden Festival Mondial des Théâtres de Marionnettes in Charleville Mézières/Frankreich. Das nächste Jahr für dieses weltgrößte Marionettenfestival ist 2019.

Vom 20. bis 25. September 2018 wir es ein »Zwischenfestival« mit dem Schwerpunkt Papiertheater geben:

»One year before the festival, an event is organized, involving shows, an exhibition, a presentation of the future line-up, a picnic (bring your own food!), an evening of shorter performances, workshops, meetings, etc.

Rendez-vous from 20th to 25th of September 2018 with the companies Les Anges au Plafond, Elvis Alatac, Gioco Vita (Italy), Cie Méandres, Ensemble C Barré, the RITP (International Meeting around Paper Theatres) and other surprises!«
